Step 1 - Discovery Meeting
At our initial meeting, we conduct a discovery interview. This helps us identify the challenges you face in achieving all that is important to you. We examine your current situation, the goals you would like to achieve and how we might help maximize the possibility of achieving these goals.
Step 2 - Investment Philosophy Meeting
At this meeting, we present our analysis of your current situation and our recommendations for how might help bridge the gaps in order for you to have a better chance at reaching your goals. This plan forms the foundation for all of our work together.
Step 3 - Mutual Commitment Meeting
At this meeting, we are ready to make a mutual decision about whether our firm might be able to add value and whether we will proceed. Should we both choose to work together, we can commit to each other to work toward achieving everything that is important to you and your family. We also execute the documents necessary to put your investment plan into action.
Step 4 - Initial Follow-up Meeting
When you have multiple investment accounts, it is easy to become overwhelmed with the paperwork you receive. At thie meeting, we help your organize the paperwork in a binder that we provide. We also answer any questions you may have so that you understand exactly what is happening with your money.
Step 5 - Regular Progress Meetings
These meetings, which we schedule at intervals convenient for you, provide us an opportunity to review your overall progress toward your long-term financial goals and review any major changes in your personal or financial situation since our last meeting. If these changes mean that we need to make adjustments to your investment plan, we do so.

About our leadership
As the founder of Financial Dynamics, Richard "Rick" Borba seeks to help and inspire individuals in hitting their life targets. Rick's major strengths are in developing plans and strategies focused on accumulating for retirement, income distribution planning for retirement, and annuity refinancing.
With over 50 years in the financial services industry, Rick has grown with his clientele and expanded his area of specialization as his clients approach retirement. Today, Rick focuses his attention on educating his clients regarding tax efficiency and how it relates to Social Security, as well as helping retirees strive to increase their income, where possible, through the process of refinancing annuities. In addition, he maintains a wealth management service that is based upon a client's objectives and goals to attempt to help achieve the client's desired return.
Rick Borba is a native of Oakland and is now a resident of Lodi, California. He has served as President of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors--East Bay/Mt. Diablo where he dedicated 10 years of service. Prior to that, he served as President and Area Director of The Exchange Club of East Bay.
Rick's passions, other than working with his wonderful clients, are fly fishing, cooking, gardening, and having fun with family and friends.
